How long will it take to ship my order?
Most orders ship within 48 hours after payment is confirmed however print-on-demand orders will take 3 to 5 days to prepare and ship.  Credit card payments are confirmed by 9:00 am the day after an order is placed.  Check payments are confirmed 3 to 5 days after receipt of the check by Document Sales & Distribution.

How will my order be shipped?
We attempt to provide the most economical shipping method for our customers utilizing U.S. Mail and United Parcel Service (UPS).  For the majority of our orders, based on weight and destination, shipping is provided by UPS.  Customers may see U.S. Mail, UPS Ground or UPS 2nd Day Air shipping options at checkout.  In this case, customers may choose their preferred shipping method.

Shipping to state government agencies in Madison is provided via inter-departmental mail when that agency is on the standard delivery route. If you are at a state agency in Madison and are not sure if your location is on the standard delivery route, please call 608-243-2441. Note: State of Wisconsin agencies are required to enter a valid Use Code when creating a login. The Use Code then allows the inter-departmental mail choice to appear at checkout for your selection.

How much will it cost to ship my order?
Our shipping rates are based on the total weight and destination of your order. The shopping cart will automatically calculate the correct shipping amount for your order and display the information.

What if I don’t receive my order?
If your order was sent via UPS you may click on the “Track Order” tab on the Home Page to check on the status of your shipped order. If you do not see your order listed, please email Document Sales & Distribution at DOADocumentSalesInformation@wi.gov or, call us at 608-243-2441 or 800-362-7253 for information on your shipment.  Document Sales & Distribution can work with you and UPS to learn when your order will be delivered and to help resolve shipping problems. Depending upon the circumstances, UPS will often reimburse for the cost of the order should it not arrive or should it arrive damaged.

If your order was sent via U.S. Mail, the United States Postal Service does not cover the cost of your order should it not arrive or should it arrive damaged when it is shipped First Class mail. Document Sales does not offer insurance protection nor can it reimburse for the cost of an order should it not arrive or should it arrive damaged.  Your order may have to be placed again and paid for again. Therefore, Document Sales & Distribution recommends that customers select UPS for their shipments whenever possible to provide better recovery options.  However, should your order shipped via U.S. Mail not arrive within 7-10 days, please email us at DOADocumentSalesInformation@wi.gov or, call us at 608-243-2441 or 800-362-7253 to discuss possible next steps.
